Employee Business Expenses

Employee business expenses are those ordinary and necessary expenses that a truck driver incurs for the purpose of their employment.  Examples might include uniform costs, uniform upkeep, internet, gas, tolls, M&IE,  etc.

IRS Form 2106 is the actual tax form that captures a truck driver's employee expense.  The so called "per diem deduction" is a big part of the employee business expenses that gets deducted for truck driver.
